This cartoon was made before The Southern Strategy made racial jokes an EXTRA touchy subject. Nowadays, history has been reversed so I just I would point out that this Cool Cat dude was Northerner or Californian and probably a Republican. The ones insulting the "Injuns" who Cool Cat is making fun of were probably the Southern Democrats who are the ones who call themselves Republicans nowadays. Yes, I know it's confusing.
