If the lawmakers didn't use science... what did they use? Scripture? If so, they got Old Testament Law (not followed by anyone) completely right...

“If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered, he shall pay the girl’s father fifty shekels of silver. He must marry the girl, for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives” (Deuteronomy 22:28–29).

They are following this Old Testament historical scripture from the Hebrew tribal days as if it were a part of the Gospels of the New Testament!!!! (OK, she's not forced to marry him... but she does HAVE to have his baby even if she isn't pregnant yet, i.e. they think thier sperm is sacred!

News Report: Strict new Arizona abortion laws decree pregnancy begins TWO WEEKS before conception

Arizona lawmakers have drawn up strict new abortion laws... that decree pregnancy begins two weeks before conception.

Final legislative approval was given to a bill that would ban most abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy, handing Republicans their latest win in ongoing national efforts to impose greater restrictions on abortion.

But the bill defines a foetus' gestational age 'as calculated from the first day of the last [mother's] menstrual period'.
This would mean, given that a woman does not produce eggs until a fortnight after her period, a baby can be terminated two weeks before it was conceived.

The bill says Arizona would '[p]rohibit abortions at or after twenty weeks of gestation, except in cases of a medical emergency, based on the documented risks to women’s health and the strong medical evidence that unborn children feel pain during an abortion at that gestational age.'

The bill now goes to the state's Republican governor for approval. If the bill is enacted, the state would join six others that have put similar late-term abortion bans in place in the past two years based on hotly debated medical research suggesting that a fetus feels pain starting at 20 weeks of gestation.

Georgia lawmakers approved a similar bill in March that now awaits the signature of Republican Governor Nathan Deal.

'The chief purpose of government is to protect life and liberty, and this bill does just that,' said Cathi Herrod, the president of the conservative Center for Arizona Policy, adding that the bill aimed to 'protect the life of a woman considering an abortion as well as the life of her pre-born child.'

Matthew Benson, a spokesman for Arizona Governor Jan Brewer, said she had a 'strong and consistent pro-life record,' but she has not yet publicly announced her position on the bill.

While barring most late-term abortions, the Arizona law would allow them in situations where continuing a pregnancy risks death or would 'create serious risk of substantial and irreversible impairment of a major bodily function.'

This would be determined by a physician's 'good faith clinical judgment.'

Bryan Howard, the president of Planned Parenthood Arizona, said the bill and several others sent to the governor continued an 'unprecedented attack' on women and their healthcare in recent years.

Howard said the ban 'completely prevents couples from making their own decisions about how to deal with the heartbreaking situation when a pregnancy is determined to involve serious health complications.' He said the law could also drive badly needed medical professionals from the state. Only a small number of abortions are performed in Arizona after 20 weeks.

The U.S. Supreme Court legalized abortions nationwide in 1973 but allowed states to ban the procedure after the time when the fetus could survive outside the womb, unless the pregnancy risked the woman's health.

In addition to banning most late-term abortions, the bill would also require women to have an ultrasound at least 24 hours prior to an abortion, instead of the one hour that is currently mandated under state law.

Additionally, state officials would be required to create a website that details such items as the risks of the procedure and shows pictures of the fetus in various stages.

Representative Katie Hobbs, a Phoenix Democrat, called the measure another example of how conservative Tea Party lawmakers are 'too extreme and too focused on their rigid ideology.'

'This bill ignores the health risks that some women face during pregnancy and pushes an extremist agenda,' said Hobbs, moments after the vote.

'There are serious medical implications associated with this legislation. I urge the governor to veto this bill.'

After Akin, GOP Makes Extreme Abortion Policy Official
In what will probably strike many people as a monumentally tone-deaf move, the GOP plans to include a plank in its 2012 platform calling for an amendment that would outlaw abortions under any circumstance. CNN reported on the draft language it obtained on Monday night, and the platform committee approved it on Tuesday:
"Faithful to the 'self-evident' truths enshrined in the Declaration of Independence, we assert the sanctity of human life and affirm that the unborn child has a fundamental individual right to life which cannot be infringed," the draft platform declares. "We support a human life amendment to the Constitution and endorse legislation to make clear that the Fourteenth Amendment's protections apply to unborn children."

Has this guy been fooled or is he just lying cause he hates Obama because he only watches Fox News?...

Small Businessman Who Hit Obama at GOP Convention Got $850,000 in Government Loans At the Republican national convention on Tuesday, nearly every speech invoked—in an unfair, out-of-context manner—President Obama's statement that successful small business owners benefit from government investment in roads, bridges, and education. Republicans have repeatedly used Obama's line "you didn't build that," excluding the crucial context, to imply that Obama believes that entrepreneurs didn't build their own businesses. One small business owner tapped by the Republican National Committee to speak at the GOP's "I Built That"-themed convention Tuesday was Phil Archuleta, owner of P&M Signs in New Mexico. "President Obama talks like he supports small businesses, but his actions are destroying us," Archuleta told the thousands in attendance Tuesday night. "His administration is putting us out of business. It is our turn to put them out of office!" But Archuleta's business, like those of several other business owners at the GOP convention, benefited greatly from government help. Through the Department of Commerce's Minority Business Development Agency, Archuleta secured an $850,000 Small Business Administration loan guarantee to build an 11,700-square-foot building for his company. The Minority Business Development Agency's website also says that Archuleta worked with the US Forest Service, to which he supplies signs, and a Department of Energy laboratory to develop environmentally friendly sign materials. So not only did Archuleta build new infrastructure for his business with a government loan, he collaborated with government agencies to improve the quality of his product. Archuleta's small business, in other words, directly contradicts the GOP's "I built that" nonsense. The Republican National Committee has trotted out business owners to highlight Obama's and the government's supposedly harmful effect on businesses. In Phil Archuleta's case, government has had the opposite effect. Some perspective On the 'We built this' nonsense...

Who is Peter King?

Article 1 on Peter King:
But according to experts in counterterrorism law, if the tough-on-terror policies King trumpets today had taken effect a few decades earlier, King himself might have been subject to prosecution. Over parts of three decades, from his days as an aspiring politician in Long Island through his early years in Congress, King was one of the nation's most outspoken supporters of the Irish Republican Army and a prolific fundraiser for the Irish Northern Aid Committee (NorAid), allegedly the IRA's American fundraising arm. The IRA waged a paramilitary campaign against the British presence in Northern Ireland for decades before peace accords were signed in 1998. Part of that effort included bombings and shootings that resulted in civilian deaths in England and Northern Ireland. During the period of King's involvement, the US government accused both NorAid and the IRA of links to terrorism.

Article 2 on Peter King: "The British government is a murder machine," King said. He described the IRA, which mastered the car bomb as an instrument of urban terror, as a "legitimate force." And he compared Gerry Adams, the leader of Sinn Fein, the IRA's political wing, to George Washington.

Given the evidence here it is reasonable to assume that Democrats & Conservatives have separate sources of Prostitutes. Notice this strange interaction:

2:05 "So for example some Conservative Senator calls Trixie at the hot licks massage palour."  and then zips it out to some website that could hurt the Senator".

It must be a VERY common occurrence amoungst Conservatives for Bill O Reilly to use that as an example. Or maybe they are pretending that is so because most GOP leaders seem to get caught doing gay stuff.

Bill O Reilly's concern here isn't that some conservative senator has been to some "massage parlor" to meet "Trixie"... his concern is that Senator getting caught. Nothing more, nothing less. So all the above scandals which are out in the open apply to the scandals that are still hidden. What we have here is a consistent pattern of behavior that can't possibly be coincidence.

Picture
Lets analyse:

Look at 2:05 again: Megyn Kelly responds to O Reilly's GOP leaders whorehouse comment with an embarrassed laugh - The same woman who calmly talked about her husband and his 'naughty blonde reporter' gets embarrassed! Why? She was fine talking about strippers and drugs before(at 2:20,here)? Is there some sort of hidden meaning to this?

By the way, notice how when Megyn Kelly has a serious memory problem & Jon Stewart catches it... it's Bill O Reilly that comes running to her defense. Making no sense but to be a 'knight in shining armor' in the  honorless GOP means it's basically the thought that counts or something else.

Now, check out the following video, from which the above clip originates, in full...
Sex For Oil Scandal At Interior Department (CBS/ AP) Government officials handling billions of dollars in oil royalties engaged in illicit sex with employees of energy companies they were dealing with and received numerous gifts from them, federal investigators said Wednesday. The allegations of bad behavior involve 13 government employees in Denver and Washington, reports CBS News investigative correspondent Sharyl Attkisson. Those accused are workers who sell U.S. mineral rights to oil companies. Such sales are one of the government's biggest sources of revenue besides taxes. But the Inspector General for the Interior Department says they rigged contracts, and engaged in illegal moonlighting, drugs, sex and gift-taking from oil company representatives, according to three reports released Wednesday. The reports revealed startling allegations including that an employee attended a so-called "treasure hunt" in the desert with all expenses paid by an oil producer, and that a former supervisor - who bought cocaine from a colleague then boosted her performance award - had sex with subordinates, and steered government contracts to an outside business where he also worked, Attkisson reports.

Days Before Scandal, Interior Got Ethics Award Oh, the irony. Just before the Department of Interior's inspector general released reports that laid bare the oil-and-sex scandal in the department's oil royalties office this week, Interior won an annual award from the federal Office of Government Ethics, The Post's Mary Pat Flaherty and Derek Kravitz report. The inspector general said Wednesday that federal officials in the Mineral Management Service's royalty-in-kind program allegedly were plied with alcohol and expensive gifts from industry representatives, and in some cases had sex and did drugs with them. The Denver-area office takes in roughly $4 billion each year in oil and natural gas reserves from companies drilling on federal and Indian land and offshore.
OIL -SEX SCANDAL: Notice in the comedy segment below, a big scandal coincides with a report about oil drilling issues by the department where the scandal originates, i.e. Interior Department's 'minerals management service',still ...the GOP is not fazed in the slightest (it never is, no matter what crimes it commits... it is, afterall, the war party!)

Given the evidence it's reasonable to assume that "Conservative" Senators ARE going to "massage parlors". We can also assume that like the oil drilling & sex scandal above, there MUST still be sexual manipulation/bribery going on behind the scene. How many trips to "Trixie" would it take to get a fat man like Chris Christie to sell his honor?

Herein, I provide a service to the right-wing dogmatists and those who’d like to understand them by reproducing the top 10 talking points for preserving the status quo.
  1. Whenever anyone brings up distributional issues, accuse them of class warfare.
  2. Never acknowledge the existence of “the rich.” They are “job creators.”
  3. Tax cuts for the working poor are “budget busters.”
  4. Tax cuts for job creators are “incentives.”  See also “competitiveness.”
  5. Deficits caused by new spending are harbingers of the apocalypse.
  6. Deficits caused by tax incentives are signs of enlightened public policy.
  7. Everyone can succeed in America by working hard.
  8. Oppose an adequate minimum wage because it kills jobs.
  9. Oppose tax credits that help minimum wage earners escape poverty, such as the earned income tax credit (EITC), because they let millions of lower-income Americans escape income tax liability.
  10. Support tax incentives that let job creators escape income tax liability.
