Above at 3 mins 45 seconds: "Seasons Greetings and happy holidays, Bill, does not offend Christians" : Reply by Bill O'Reilly, "Yes, it does."

i.e. "Christians" in the US are offended by everything. One might think they might boo the Golden Rule (you know, the rule where Jesus says 'Love thy neighbor')

O Wait! Too Late...

"Let the record show that on January 16, 2012, the good people of South Carolina booed the Golden Rule." ― Jon Stewart  [Note: Golden Rule = ‘Love your neighbor as yourself'. Matthew 22:39]

Notes:

At 33 secs where Bill O Reilly says Christianity is not a Religion its a philosophy he was copying me here. The only difference is that I can prove it. i.e. In ancient history 2 seperate forms of Buddhism emerged. One was a philosophical one and the other a religious one. The Philosophical one is the "Mahayana" or "the Greater Vehicle". It is the Southern Buddhism which no longer exists in Northern India, Tibet or Japan that Bill O Reilly could be referring to... or maybe he's just doing some sort of frame, saying that I'm lying & I'm a part of religion. If so I don't know why. I'm in Pakistan. People are peaceful here. I guess no one has seen the actual statistics of deaths in America? (see article extract below)

Anyways, I have explained Zen Buddhism (the philosophical path of Buddhism) in more detail here.

At 2 mins Bill O Reilly says Chirstianity has no organized form. Now he's talking about the Muslims! I posted this to facebook somewhere, but I can never find anything on facebook anymore. Anyways, Bill O Reilly must not be Catholic if he doesn't know about the Roman Catholic Church. I wonder who he thinks the Pope is? Himself?

Article Extract on JUST death by guns (murder) in America:

How Many People Have Been Killed by Guns Since Newtown?  Slate partners with @GunDeaths for an interactive, crowdsourced tally of the toll firearms have taken since Dec. 14.By Chris Kirk and Dan Kois

Update, June 19, 2013: As time goes on, our count gets further and further away from the likely actual number of gun deaths in America—because roughly 60 percent of deaths by gun are due to suicides, which are very rarely reported. When discussing this issue, please note that our number is by design not accurate and represents only the number of gun deaths that the media can find out about contemporaneously. Part of the purpose of this interactive is to point out how difficult it is to get accurate real-time numbers on this issue.

Using the most recent CDC estimates for yearly deaths by guns in the United States, it is likely that as of today, 6/28/2013, roughly 16,486 people have died from guns in the United States since the Newtown shootings. Compare that number to the number of deaths reported in the news in our interactive below, and you can see how undertold the story of gun violence in America actually is.

The right makes it clear that Muslims ARE terrorists. If they are depicted in any other way they don't like it (or at least, Fox News & thier GOP leaders, don't like it as it will require a retraction). If most of the Muslim World turns out to be like these boring TLC Muslims then the GOP/Fox-News has a serious problem... and makes ALL of thier math fuzzy. The logic used, 'We don't want people to think all Muslims are peaceful' is like Muslims saying we 'Don't want people to think all Christians are peaceful' ... in some hypothetical future where the cycle of global influence swings back to the Muslims (would be about 50 years after China reachs full supper power status) ... based on thier encountering "Christian" violence in the past.

With all the strange precautions, such as 3 ounce shampoo etc. What the GOP is saying is that these terrorists can use anything. Peter King had ties to the IRA, AN ACTUAL TERRORIST ORGANIZATION, and Fox News supports him. Especially Bill O Reilly.

Who is Peter King?

Article 1 on Peter King:
But according to experts in counterterrorism law, if the tough-on-terror policies King trumpets today had taken effect a few decades earlier, King himself might have been subject to prosecution. Over parts of three decades, from his days as an aspiring politician in Long Island through his early years in Congress, King was one of the nation's most outspoken supporters of the Irish Republican Army and a prolific fundraiser for the Irish Northern Aid Committee (NorAid), allegedly the IRA's American fundraising arm. The IRA waged a paramilitary campaign against the British presence in Northern Ireland for decades before peace accords were signed in 1998. Part of that effort included bombings and shootings that resulted in civilian deaths in England and Northern Ireland. During the period of King's involvement, the US government accused both NorAid and the IRA of links to terrorism.

Article 2 on Peter King: "The British government is a murder machine," King said. He described the IRA, which mastered the car bomb as an instrument of urban terror, as a "legitimate force." And he compared Gerry Adams, the leader of Sinn Fein, the IRA's political wing, to George Washington.
Wish You Weren't Here - Obama uses NASA to reach out to the Muslim world, while plans to build more mosques in America spark outrage.  (07:36) :

Fox News immediately connects any attack to Muslims and begins to anchor it to them. The Boston Bomber turning out to be Muslim was their biggest propaganda success in recent days. The simple reality is that they will always blame Muslims. If you play the probabilities AND assume it's not a Muslim involved in a terror attack, then you'll be right more often than not.

Note: 'He looked Nordic'. 'Maybe it was a good disguise' as reports can be mistaken during the trauma of an attack. Calls Norway's terror attack. By focusing on death and terror on Muslims mass hysteria is created.

Memo: Containing Radical Islam: Now all over the world, extreme Muslims believe they're allowed to kill people with whom they disagree. They even kill each other. Thousands of people are dying and the world's response is largely silence. Remember, the Sudanese government is allowing killers to slaughter hundreds of thousands of civilians in Darfur. As China blocks action in the U.N., the world just stands by and watches.

There is no question that Muslim killers are a threat to the entire world. Iran is funding and arming Hezbollah, which may start a war in Lebanon any time. Pakistan is allowing the Taliban sanctuary so it can kill Afghans and Americans at will. And Al Qaeda is actively seeking ways to kill just about everybody. With Pakistan already having nukes and Iran on the way to getting them, you'd have to be a complete moron not to understand the danger here.

Note: Half my family is Christian & the other half is Muslim. I'm a Zen Buddhist with an interest the mystical philosophy of Sufism. I like some rap, less country music though if I'm sitting somewhere and people are playing music, unfamiliar country music may be more pleasant for me than unfamiliar rap. I'm mostly interested in Rock & Heavy Metal. That doesn't help, of course. Not to mention my long standing interest in Yoga, Hypnosis & Meditation.

Here is the definition of Laissez-Faire Capitalism:  Laissez-faire capitalism is an economic system. Capitalism involves the ownership of property by individuals. The individual's goal is to use this property, or capital (buildings, machines, and other equipment used to produce goods and services), to create income. Individuals and companies compete with one another to earn money. This competition between companies determines the amount of goods produced and the prices company owners may demand for these goods. The French term laissez-faire literally means "to let people do as they wish." Thus, supporters of laissez-faire capitalism do not want the government to interfere in business matters, or if governments do involve themselves in business matters, to keep government influence to a minimum.

One result of no rules in private enterprise is that a person with money and thus the ability to buy influence (i.e. allot of money equals greater power, political and social) can destroy any chance of a competitor entering the marketplace.

In fact, without rules and law, people tend to be greedy and selfish. Something which is normally well-known. With no law there is no control over anyone with power using it unfairly against someone who is socially and politically weaker. Generally, this is seen as immoral by all religions and philosophies as being ruthless means there is no 'charity' and others must be manipulated to gain even more wealth and control (a never ending process). That is why religious sources tend to be against the 'might is right' belief embedded in Laissez-Faire Capitalism.

The following is a religious explanation(from Christianity) which is naturally against the type of behavior which takes from fellow human beings to the detriment of society;

Darwin's ideas played a critically important role in the development and growth, not only of Nazism and communism, but also of the ruthless form of capitalism as best illustrated by the robber barons. While it is difficult to conclude confidently that ruthless capitalism would not have blossomed as it did if Darwin had not developed his evolution theory, it is clear that if Carnegie, Rockefeller, and others had continued to embrace the unadulterated JudeoChristian worldview of their youth and had not become Darwinists, capitalism would not have become as ruthless as it did in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Morris and Morris (p. 84) have suggested that other motivations (including greed, ambition, even a type of a missionary zeal) stimulated the fierce, unprincipled robber baron business practices long before Darwin. Darwinism, however, gave capitalism an apparent scientific rationale that allowed it to be taken to the extremes that were so evident in the early parts of last century.

The basic argument against Laissez-Faire Capitalism (as opposed to a mixed economy with laws to help keep the market fair - see definition above) is that without rules, ruthlessness and "might is right" reigns supreme. Allowing the rich and powerful to take advantage of the weak.

In the feudal system, allot of power (through control of land and resources) was given to a few people by a king. These people would then do everything they could to take whatever they could at the cost of society and every other human that could be conned (that is generally in a different clan or family, though this didn't hold in all cases).

Such economic behavior (and an effect of Laissez-Faire Capitalism) was and is referred to as "Robber Barons";

What Does Robber Barons Mean? A disparaging term dating back to the 12th century which refers to: 1. Unscrupulous feudal lords who amassed personal fortunes by using illegal and immoral business practices, such as illegally charging tolls to passing merchant ships. 2. Modern-day businesspeople who allegedly engage in unethical business tactics and questionable stock market transactions to build large personal fortunes.

Regulating immoral business practices is an old function of modern democracies and modern economies. This is another reason why in the modern world government is mixed with private enterprise. To provide rules and a framework for a fairer society with more opportunity for all its citizens not just a few who happen to be on top and thus have the wealth and influence to get more and more while giving back less and less to the community that these individuals are from.

"Their main problem with Ron Paul... is because he won't pre-agree to start a war with Iran" - Jon Stewart
News Article from the time of the GOP primary:

Pentagon says Iran concerned primarily with deterring an attack

The Iran question is often posed, as it was in last week's debate to Ron Paul, as a hypothetical. If Iran was proven to have a nuclear weapon what steps would be taken by the US to assure they did not attack Israel? The establishment media is skillful in the presentation and structure of the debate. The question assumes it is the responsibility of the US to protect Israel from a strike by Iran. But more importantly it assumes that Iran has the ability and strategic desire to attack Israel.

This unclassified assessment of Iran's military capability by the US Department of Defense clearly states that "To ensure regime survival, Iran's security strategy is based first on deterring an attack."

The document goes on to make this key statement, "Iran's nuclear program and its willingness to keep open the possibility of developing nuclear weapons is a central part of its deterrent strategy."

But what if the unpredictable Ahmadinejad and company in Tehran suddenly changed their strategy and decided to go on the offensive? Fortunately they would not have the capability according to the DoD which states, "At present Iran's forces are sufficent to deter or defend against conventional threats from Iran's weaker neighbors such as post-war Iraq, the GCC, Azerbaijan or Afghanistan but lack the air power and logistical ability to power much beyond Iran's boarders or to confront regional powers such as Turkey or Israel."

Stated simply Iran wants to obtain the necessary weapons to defend itself in a bad neighborhood where it finds itself surrounded by a global superpower.

The hyping of the potential nuclear program in Iran is Washington's attempt to establish a pretext that would garner public support for a strike/destabilization campaign on Iran. The obvious goal would be regime change.

Moment of Zen: Notice at approx 1 minute - INTO THIS VIDEO - how the GOP news outlet argues for more war for it's ECONOMIC benefits.

Halliburton got $7B in no-bid Iraq contracts

During Vice President Dick Cheney's tenure as its chief executive, the Halliburton Corporation altered its accounting policies so it could report as revenue more than $100 million in disputed costs on big construction projects, public filings by the company show. Halliburton did not disclose the change to investors for over a year.

Vice President Dick Cheney’s stock options in Halliburton rose from $241,498 in 2004 to over $8 million in 2005, an increase of more than 3,000 percent, as Halliburton continues to rake in billions of dollars from no-bid/no-audit government contracts.
