News Reports:

Wisconsin Dems file complaint over ‘Koch brothers-funded scheme to suppress votes’  The Democratic Party of Wisconsin filed a complaint on Tuesday seeking to stop what it called a Koch brothers-funded scheme to suppress Democratic votes in upcoming Republican recall elections.

Politico reported that Americans for Prosperity sent absentee ballots to Democrats in two Wisconsin state Senate recall districts with instructions that could render the votes ineligible.

Ballots must be received by August 9 to be counted, but the instructions say to return the paperwork two days later, by August 11.

More about the Koch Brothers:

The conservative billionaire duo's Americans for Prosperity nonprofit has spent $700,000 on ads supporting the governor's record  as the recall effort against him gains steam.  Last year, they were reportedly behind Walker  in his showdown with unions over the state budget.

Anchorman Don Lemon's half-hearted last-minute effort to feign that he cares about CNN's antics is a call for help.(3:27):

Article: What Don Lemon gets wrong about moms : The CNN anchor should be ashamed of his assumptions about single motherhood and the black community's self-respect

On Saturday, CNN weekend anchor Don Lemon issued five warmed-over admonishments to the black community in his No Talking Points segment. The “advice” began with, “Pull up your pants!” and ended with, “Stop having out-of-wedlock babies!” On Sunday, after claiming to be baffled by the Twitter backlash, he turned to pundits LZ Granderson and Ana Navarro for on-air backup. At one point, Lemon commiserated with Granderson over how often both are called Uncle Toms, presumably for their “no-nonsense,” “clean up your act” stances.

According to TVNewser, CNN bested MSNBC in primetime ratings in quarter two for the first time since 2009. With Soledad O’Brien’s departure earlier this year and former weekend anchor TJ Holmes’ departure in late 2012, the field is wide open for Lemon to make a name for himself as the seminal anchor of color on CNN (whether CNN’s interest in diversity extends beyond having a single black anchor is another question).

It’s interesting, then, that allying himself with Bill O’Reilly is Lemon’s big distinguishing act. Those of us who follow the “black coverage” on CNN saw this coming, when Lemon anchored an “N-Word special” for the network, in the wake of the Paula Deen scandal. Even with the ever-candid LeVar Burton on hand to explain the complicated series of actions he does by rote when the police pull his car over, Lemon seemed more focused on shaping the conversation around why we should all stop using the N-Word if we expect Paula Deen not to use it.

This is a point Ana Navarro was sure to reinforce when she appeared on Lemon’s “defense panel” yesterday. “It was during the Trayvon Martin trial [sic] that the Paula Deen scandal happened. And let me tell you: there were a lot of people saying saying to themselves, ‘Well, gee, how come Paula Deen can’t say this word, but how come it’s being said just a few days later in the Trayvon Martin trial [sic] by an African American?’”
Lemon lets this stand, as though the term “Trayvon Martin trial” doesn’t frame the victim as the accused and as though it’s perfectly logical and not at all racist to make an unarmed 17-year-old’s death about who “gets to say” the N-word.

It’s clear that his priorities around integrity — both journalistic and personal — are a bit misplaced. If that seems harsh, consider his quip about “taking back” the term ‘Uncle Tom’ in this panel he assembled for the sole purpose of defending himself against “race traitor” accusations. “I’m gonna get the Uncle Tom Award,” he chuckles.

He needn’t work too hard. Packing the most oversimplified, under-investigated, purely anecdotal evidence possible into a six-minute segment about “the black community” has him off to a great start.

The most egregious example of this is the lone mother Lemon references in both of his “Get it together, black folks” segments. Lemon paints her as emasculating and cruel, in describing the way she’s scolded her young son for crying before calling him — and eventually Lemon — N-words. He claims that, when he intervened, she went to a deli and emerged wielding an umbrella, poised to strike him.

Not only do none of us have any way of verifying that this happened the way he said it did, but it’s the only example he proffers to support his idea that the black family is disintegrating due primarily to unwed motherhood.

It’s just as irresponsible an anecdote as his claim that “born out-of-wedlock” means “absent fathers.” In fact, there have been numerous studies disproving this popular claim. To be fair, maybe Lemon didn’t feel the need to interrogate this fallacy, since it’s such an easily regurgitated go-to position. We saw it come up in the last presidential election debates, when Mitt Romney insinuated that single mothers were to blame for gun violence. President Obama often hints at it in his own “be a father to your child” speeches, which tend to assume that unmarried and low-income fathers are entirely uninvolved parents. And just this weekend, conservative columnist George Will pointed to single motherhood as a large part of what he called “Detroit’s cultural collapse.” Despite being the laziest explanation for the majority of society’s ills, single motherhood is not the bogeyman without which we’d all live morally spotless, fiscally responsible, racism-free, crime-reduced lives. And marital status is not an automatic or accurate indicator of father involvement.

Above all, Lemon should be ashamed of himself for inexplicably using the George Zimmerman verdict as a news peg for his conservative on-air rants about black citizens and their self-respect. Two weekends ago, 100 U.S. cities hosted peaceful protests in response to the injustice of a black boy being killed because the assailant deemed him “suspicious” on appearance alone. Right now, Florida youth initiative The Dream Defenders are fighting for a Trayvon Martin Civil Rights Act meant to protect black youth from racial profiling and from being written off by their schools and disciplinary systems under “zero tolerance” policies. And journalists like Jesse Taylor are addressing the wrongness of Lemon’s idea that black people’s sartorial or behavioral changes will insulate them from racial animus.

We respect ourselves quite well. We fight on behalf of those too weary to keep marching. We call out racism — including that which is perpetuated by members of our own race — when we see it. And we love ourselves in ways that have, for several generations, been willfully ignored by mainstream media.

But you won’t win any “awards” for pointing any of that out, will you, Don?

1. Incitements to violence for motivating the political base; 2. Suppression of individuality and rationality in a large group (and the creation of an effective emotional political response irrespective of facts); 3. Both sides (the somewhat accurate and the almost completely inaccurate) use the same tactics as its necessary in American politics...
The ones promoting violence like the Nazis did are on Fox News but the peaceful folk are the ones they say are the  Nazis. As a comparison they ignore tons of pages of war crimes and focus on the drones strikes of Obama & other  GOP members of the CIA. I got hundreds to thousands of dead for Obama but 1.2 Million as a consequence of Bush, yet the GOP's  channel says nothing about this! And Fox News/Biz gives the GOP a million dollars so it's not like they are not connected, fox news doesn't talk about anything that interferes with it's mission of promoting oil company and war factory interests. Be it giving no-bid contracts to Halliburton, ignoring oil crimes for years, a Texas factory explosion that defies explanation in so many ways it's not funny. And of course, complete silence on the Invisible War in the Military (thus making it invisible to begin with AND FOR GOOD REASON!) - being the "war party" this actually makes sense. It's NOT moral in any way. It just makes sense. War is immoral and so isFox News & Fox Business.

It's what they are.

Later, when Ann Romney became a part of the election cycle, Fox News said, unanimously, that women shouldn't be insulted. It's true. Fox News hypocrisy knows no bounds. Such as when they rebrand a section of thier corporation "Business" and everyone buys it. This brings me to another very serious problem. The dumbing down of the United States. Covered here in detail:

"The Dumbing Down of America" Example 1 - Cartoons

"The Dumbing Down of America" Example 2 - Sarah Palin

"The Dumbing Down of America" Example 3 - Michelle Bachman

The State of US Education and The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America

Violent rhetoric in the US is very common here are a few examples from Fox "Business":

1. From John Stossel = "I think it will take visible riots to help people focus on this thing" (i.e. he is suggesting to his followers that 'we may have to riot'!)- example of violent rhetoric on the extreme right by its true believers - connects with tea party and ideological economics. http://video.foxnews.com/v/1042453656001/can-the-us-learn-from-greece/
What Stossel is promoting (such as with Iran here) is standard Fox-News/GOP's party line. To cause harm to US Citizens through violence.

 Glenn Beck advocates violence...

A look at Glenn Beck & his tendency to promote extreme forms of violence . [People like Glenn Beck having political and social power scare me the most - To understand why please watch this video.] . Instead of violent rhetoric I think the sources of the problems need to be rooted out as I explained here (i.e. aggressively and not the way outlined in GOP funded Liberal Think Tanks).

This will be the result of these violent promotions by Fox News if they achieve thier rioting goal:

1. "He says looting makes "powerless people suddenly feel powerful" and that is "very intoxicating"." -http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-14463452 .

2. Simple opportunity for lawlessness by the breakdown of infrastructure -http://www.wired.com/science/discoveries/news/2007/07/dayintech_0713

3. Normal behaviour motivated by greed or heartlessness or simply living by the law of the streets - an example of a complete breakdown of law http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-14456065

4. DAILY SHOW LINK: Compared to discord in Pakistan or even other riots in the US, Britain is very tame - at 2mins and 40 secs, check out the looters standing in line to loot (there were also images of looters helping each other under glass windows etc. - took 2 days for 'batons' to be allowed... no one has guns etc.)

The many perspectives on the Britain riots: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-14483149 -
The LA riots were much more violent (there is literally no comparison): http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-14501282
The anger at the violent reaction created its own mass movement: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/in-pictures-14490167
The problem of the rumor mill that leads to mass hysteria (at local, national or global levels) and is something that the US media does on a regular basis with its fear marketing (though that may have gone down?), Fox news has taken this fear mongering to criminal levels(IMO): http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-14490693
Another look at the origin of the 2 reactions in England; "Are they rioters, which implies a political objection, looters, which doesn't, or vandals, etc? It's interesting too that a lot of the people cleaning up embraced the Sun's 'scum' so readily, a reflexive response of anger." http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-14506159 .

Side Note: The fall of the currency has been a major drumbeat amougnst the Koch Brother Libertarians. This hyperinflation result was predicted for 2001. Then 2012. Now 2013? We have to accept that the Fox Business Libertarians don't understand the economy anymore than a 10 year old. Who, besides the EXTREMELY old &  decrepit, are the only ones who believe their crap). But yes, in every outright lie there is a kernel of truth. For QE the kernel of truth is this: "As the Bank of England prepares to vote on quantitative easing, a report argues the extra cash 'exacerbates already extreme income inequality'". Which actually helps the Koch Brothers and any oil manipulations they may be up to. So Fox Business needs to re-think their incitement strategy. Maybe even get an education if the most recent news is any measure of their knowledge:

The new form of communist/fascist/socialist government is actually crony capitalism (i.e. people doing WHATEVER thier corporate bosses say) and it looks like this...

In this case you will notice that contract law is supported for Wall Street firms that have already gone bankrupt and only exist because of taxpayer money, while not supporting Public Unions who Ronald Reagan said enhanced freedom as if you don't have the freedom to form public unions then "freedom is lost".

Also,

Notice That Judge Napolitano has been following standard GOP policy when trying to incite violence. This violent approach to a possible drone (that could be just a remote controlled kids plane, a pizza delivery from Dominos or a bird - considering GOP follower obervation capabilities, backed by the Supreme Court I might add - is backed by a violent shock jock by the name of Alex Jones (who claims there is some GOP revolution rising but Adam Kokesh proves regularly that that's not the case, it's just some kids who know the truth of Government in this internet age and Alex Jones is trying to help herd them into the arms of the GOP through it's Koch Brother Libertarian outreach program led by Fox Biz Libertarians & people like Alex Jones):

Judge Andrew Napolitano has warned Congress not to act “like potted plants” regarding the increased use of unmanned surveillance drones without warrants over US skies by military, government, and law enforcement agencies.

Echoing the recent comments of his Fox News colleague Charles Krauthammer, Napolitano also said that “The first American patriot that shoots down one of these drones that comes too close to his children in his backyard will be an American hero.”

VIDEO - From Bill Moyers David Stockman on Crony Capitalism - January 20, 2012-  http://billmoyers.com/segment/david-stockman-on-crony-capitalism/  Moyers & Company explores the tight connection between Wall Street and the White House with David Stockman, former budget director for President Reagan. Now a businessman who says he was “taken to the woodshed” for telling the truth about the administration’s tax policies, Stockman speaks candidly with Bill Moyers about how money dominates politics, distorting free markets and endangering democracy. “As a result,” Stockman says, “we have neither capitalism nor democracy. We have crony capitalism.” Stockman shares details on how the courtship of politics and high finance have turned our economy into a private club that rewards the super-rich and corporations, leaving average Americans wondering how it could happen and who’s really in charge. “We now have an entitled class of Wall Street financiers and of corporate CEOs who believe the government is there to do… whatever it takes in order to keep the game going and their stock price moving upward,” Stockman tells Moyers.

The problem here is powerful, privately owned enterprises, who finance such warmongers as above and who influence the nations wealth by having connections into the Government (which in the case of 2008 involved the biggest theft in history, which the Corporate Media Cronies is helping to cover up) i.e. Crony Capitalism – [Visualized] http://www.thevisualeverything.com/2011/12/crony-capitalism-visualized/

Socialism is when ALL factors of production are provided by the State - basic econ 101 definition - (the healthcare bill is market based from Heritage Institute based on Romney care). An Explanation For The Educated Dumb Of The US Financial Media Circuit From Superman III

Basically what Goldman Sachs are trying to pull is one of the oldest tricks in the book. Anyone born before 1980 will probably remember this movie with the simple embezzlement scheme that the Goldman Sachs people copied from (didn't I say somewhere that the GOP gets all it's is ideas from movie:

Synopsis Of Relevant Section of Superman 3:

Having now taken a job as a computer programmer at Webscoe Industries, Gus Gorman is extremely disappointed when he sees his first paycheck. "Where did it all go?" he asks. During lunch, Gus and a friend discuss all the percentages taken from a paycheck. When Gus tells him that there has to be fractions of cents left over, Gus's friend tells him that the checks are rounded down to the nearest "half-cent". "Where do those half-cents go?" asked Gus. Suddenly, another light bulb goes on above Gus's head. When everyone else is leaving, Gus is still busy programming.

It's another payday at Webscoe Industries. When Gus is handed his paycheck, he asks the courier if there isn't a second check for him. "I put in a voucherŠ for expenses," he says. "Right you are," says the courier and he hands Gus another envelope. Slowly breaking the seal, Gus pulls out a check for $87,789.90. Gus can barely contain his joy.

Ross Webster, head of Webscoe Industries is interrupted by his accountant who informs him that someone has shrewdly embezzled a large amount from the company coffers. "In the old days," says the accountant, "it was simple. We kept books. We knew what went in and what went out. If someone wanted to rob you, they walked in an said stick-em up. Now with computersŠ" "But, computers are the wave of the future," says Webster. Outraged that someone would dare steal money from them, Ross Webster's sister, Vera, insists that this person has to be caught. "He's bound to slip up," says the accountant. "No," says Ross Webster, "he'll not do a thing to call attention to himself, unless he's a complete and utter moron." Moving to the window Webster sees Gus squeal into the employee's parking lot with a bright shiny sports car.

Ross Webster calls Gus to his office, and he sheepishly enters the luxurious office. "Mr. August Gorman," says Webster, "you've been quite a naughty guy. You want to be rich. You're a genius. A naughty genius, but a genius none the less," he tells Gus. But rather than punish Gus, Webster realizes that someone smart enough to embezzle that kind of money right under his nose can be useful. "I've been searching for a long time for someone that can make computers do what they're not supposed to do. Under different company names, I control the price of coffee. In Venezuela, Brazil, Bolivia and Jamaica. Everywhere except Columbia. We're going to teach them a lesson; destroy their entire coffee crop down to the last bean. Gus, you are going to do that for me."

BTW, the global warming this is probably spread by the Koch Brother Libertarians as CATO (following video) & Heritage are founded by the Koch Brothers:
CATO: Is A Koch Brother Funded Institute. If you listen To Cato OR Heritage then you are a "Koch Brother Libertarian".

"The Koch Brothers"

"The Koch Brothers are worth $50 billion. They’ve bankrolled the Tea Party, the campaign against climate change science, and entire university departments to advance their right-wing agenda. The newest item on their shopping list: their own Center for American Progress."

Republicans Attempt to Ax Program Monitoring CarcinogensThe National Toxicology Program, part of the National Institutes of Health, publishes the biannual Report on Carcinogens, which is one of the primary sources of up-to-date public information about chemicals that are known or suspected causes of cancer. The report has been published since 1980, in response to a directive from Congress. But if Rep. Denny Rehberg (R-Mont.) gets his way, soon we might lose this detailed information about the chemicals putting us at risk.

Heritage is also a Koch created and funded institute:

Connections:1. "Before joining Heritage in June 2007, Loris was an associate at the Charles G. Koch Charitable Foundation, immersing himself for a year in a market-based management program."  ,2. "Total Koch foundation grants 1997-2009: $3,976,571"3. Sourcewatch: A list of Koch Funded Orgs

Then there are the lies about the Keystone pipeline. It doesn't create long term jobs. It will create fuel over 2 decades. It will cause earthquakes as well. The Koch Brothers have enough money to survive earthquakes and tsunamis. Most of the rest of the population doesn't. Amnesties/Tax-Breaks/help for the rich and death for common Citizens is another aspect of "Corporatism".

Koch company declared 'substantial interest' in Keystone XL pipeline: Document filed with Canada's Energy Board appears to cast doubt on claims by Koch Industries that it has no interest in the controversial pipeline.

BLOG POST: The Koch Brothers ARE Waging War On Obama & US Citizens!

GOP's radioactive anti-Obama rhetoric

(CNN) -- The debates this presidential primary season have been less like Lincoln-Douglas than former heavyweight champ Buster Douglas -- punch-drunk pugilism, providing entertainment and some great upsets along the way.
But for all the excitement of the fights, there is a civic cost to the radioactive rhetoric that gets thrown out to excite the conservative crowds.

It's not just that the most irresponsible candidates can play to the base and get a boost in the polls, while more sober-minded candidates like Jon Huntsman fail to get attention. The real damage is to the process of running for president itself. Because when low blows get rewarded, the incentive to try to emulate Lincoln -- holding yourself to a higher standard -- is diminished. And one barometer of this atmospheric shift is in the increasingly overheated rhetoric by candidates attacking the current president. This serial disrespect ends up unintentionally diminishing the office of president itself.

Look, I know that politics is a full-contact sport: Elbows get thrown and egos get bruised. But ask yourself if Ronald Reagan ever called Jimmy Carter a socialist or a communist on the stump. Sure, there were deep philosophical and policy disagreements between them, and Carter was called a failed president many times. But there was a lingering respect for the office that retained an essential bit of dignity. It was only the far-right fringe who indulged in the kind of rhetoric we now hear routinely from presidential candidates.

To understand why Latino's have been attacked so hard by the GOP-Republicans, you have to understand their standard party political strategy, which all of them (except Ron Paul) use...

GOP-Republican: The Southern Strategy

The Southern Strategy is the policy of the Republican Party in the United States to gain political support in the Southern section of the country. Politically, the concept generally uses themes traditionally supported by residents of the Southern states to win election in those locations. Since segregation continued well into the late 20th century in the region, the Republican Party officially attempted to utilize this wedge issue as a way of garnering support for their political faction in these states. In addition to the issue of segregation between white residents and African Americans, the party also utilized Southern values of religion, gun control and a distrust of counterculture to win votes.

In the 1950s and 1960s, the Republican Party generally opposed desegregation and the Civil Rights Movement. This stance caused a major shift in the voting practices of the African American community to the support of the Democratic Party, the faction which helped legislate laws such as the Voting Rights Act. Party officials, specifically President Richard Nixon's political strategist Kevin Phillips, understood that in order for the Republicans to win the Southern states, they needed to focus their attention on the Caucasian population.

The implementation of the Southern Strategy by the Republican Party represented a major shift in political power in the region. Since the Civil War, the Democratic Party was the primary force in the South due to its support of the region during Reconstruction. In addition, the Republican candidate Abraham Lincoln was seen as the primary instigator of the war by most Southern residents. Between the 1950s and the early 1980s, the South shifted to major support for the Republicans. At the same time, much of the North and the West became a major supporter of Democrats.

In other words, the establishment Republicans (i.e Newt, Mitt, Santorum - those following standard party policy) are using the natural racism of the South (see background above) to get votes. This racism has been fanned by the GOP and Fox News to a point where it has become extremely toxic.

Newt also has been heavily supported by The Koch Brothers...

From Mother Jones:

They included Citadel CEO Ken Griffin and casino billionaire Sheldon Adelson, who along with his wife has given a staggering $10 million to a pro-Newt Gingrich super-PAC. Guests reportedly pledged a total of $40 million to the effort to oust Obama, with Charles and David Koch promising an additional $60 million.

The Koch Brothers are well-known for their war on Obama, on black people (by causing cancer!)

Previous Statement by Newt Gingrich On "Their Blacks" (News Report):“Really poor children in really poor neighborhoods have no habits of working and have nobody around them who works,” the former House speaker said at a campaign event at the Nationwide Insurance offices. “So they literally have no habit of showing up on Monday. They have no habit of staying all day. They have no habit of ‘I do this and you give me cash,’ unless it’s illegal.”

Note that Newt Gingrich promises to do as Andrew Jackson did:

Here is what Andrew Jackson did...

1. Historian Adam Wasserman's account of Andrew Jackson's excursion into Spanish Florida to destroy the "Negro Fort" situated on the mouth of the Appalachicola River in Florida. The "Negro Fort" was a free black settlement that served as a rendezvous for fugitive slaves from the Southern states.

2.  Andrew Jackson loved attacking and killing people...

Jackson invades FloridaJackson gathered his forces at Fort Scott in March 1818, including 800 U.S. Army regulars, 1,000 Tennessee volunteers, 1,000 Georgia militia,[23] and about 1,400 friendly Lower Creek warriors. On March 15, Jackson's army entered Florida, marching down the Apalachicola River. When they reached the site of the Negro Fort, Jackson had his men construct a new fort, Fort Gadsden. The army then set out for the Mikasuki villages around Lake Miccosukee. The Indian town of Tallahassee was burned on March 31, and the town ofMiccosukee was taken the next day. More than 300 Indian homes were destroyed. Jackson then turned south, reaching St. Marks on April 6.[24]

At St. Marks Jackson seized the Spanish fort. There he found Alexander George Arbuthnot, a Scottish trader working out of the Bahamas. He traded with the Indians in Florida and had written letters to British and American officials on behalf of the Indians. He was rumored to be selling guns to the Indians and to be preparing them for war. He probably was selling guns, since the main trade item of the Indians was deer skins, and they needed guns to hunt the deer.[25] Two Indian leaders, Josiah Francis, a Red Stick Creek, also known as the "Prophet" (not to be confused with Tenskwatawa), and Homathlemico, had been captured when they had gone out to an American ship flying the British Union Flag that had anchored off of St. Marks. As soon as Jackson arrived at St. Marks, the two Indians were brought ashore and hanged.[26]

Jackson left St. Marks to attack villages along the Suwannee River, which were occupied primarily by fugitive slaves. On April 12, the army found a Red Stick village on the Econfina River. Close to 40 Red Sticks were killed, and about 100 women and children were captured. In the village, they found Elizabeth Stewart, the woman who had been captured in the attack on the supply boat on the Apalachicola River the previous November. Harassed by Black Seminoles along the route, the army found the villages on the Suwannee empty. About this time, Robert Ambrister, a former Royal Marine and self-appointed British "agent", was captured by Jackson's army. Having destroyed the major Seminole and black villages, Jackson declared victory and sent the Georgia Militia and the Lower Creeks home. The remaining army then returned to St. Marks.[27]

3. The Indian Removal Act of 1830 – Trail of Tears

Throughout decades of English immigrants and the formation of the United States, Native Americans were continually mistreated. They were looked at as “savages” and were made slaves. The English had no tolerance of them and many wanted them dead. This was mostly because they did not share religious beliefs and they did not share the same way of living. Natives were killed by attack after attack. Their crops were destroyed by settlers leaving them dying of starvation.

On May 28, 1830, Andrew Jackson enacted the Indian Removal Act as a means to “trade” land which lied on the eastern side of the Mississippi where the Native Americans resided. In return, the Native Americans would be given land which was designated for them west of the Mississippi. Within the treaty there were some important terms of conditions in which the President guaranteed these different nations.

Jackson promised the protection of tribes from all outside forces while they were o the newly designated land. The act also guaranteed “aid” for those who were moving and needed help in doing so. In one paragraph it was stated that the land which was traded was to always belong to the tribes, regardless if it was them or their successors living on it. (There was however one exception to this rule. It stated in the treaty that if the “Indians become extinct, or abandon the same” then “…such lands shall revert to the United States”).

With all of these promises and more from President Andrew Jackson, five different tribes decided to move to the other side of the Mississippi. Their destination was Oklahoma which was known as Indian Territory. This began the incredible (albeit deadly) move of over 70,000 Native Americans within the span of ten years. This trek is sadly known as the Trail of Tears.

The move from east to west proved to be more destructive to the tribes than it was helpful. What seemed to be a fair trade soon turned a terrible ordeal as many people died from the move. Native Americans died from exhaustion and starvation from the long journey. Over 3,000 Natives of the Cherokee tribe alone died on the Trail of Tears. This was not to mention all of those who died once they arrived in Oklahoma.

American Genocide the Trail of Tears

Newt Gingrich just keeps talking nonsense and people believe it. It makes sense that Sarah Palin would believe Newt as she's a prime example of the broken education system in the States ... but so many people! That's a bad sign for intelligence and humanity in the whole ofAmerica!
