At 18 seconds you get to see the story that got pushed out of the news by the Royal Babies birth, which got covered by Colbert Report below.

What's up with the weird "Kate did a good job". Maybe she was thinking of the witch trial they had in the US or the Southern Strategy's everyday use in the US (Part 1 & Part 2). For example Does this woman think that the UK is like the USA with it's Romney cover-up or it's constant lying no matter who pays the cost?
Jon Oliver is pissed at the coverage... note what he does next (tomorrow's shows should be fun!):

1. Fact: "Reporters" can't tell the difference between news & tid-bits anymore.

2.
Pick a lane! (Be either reporters or join the daily show - currently they are neither).

Weird Comment: 'We didn't have twitter so this is a bit of theatrics' (as opposed to tradition such as the guy who pops up on the news every Memorial Day)... or she she simply following the script of being condescending to the British while appearing to be nice, i.e. a standard Bill O Reilly Tactic.

Given the continuous coverage of Prince Harry - according to the first video above - does Prince Harry really need an introduction?

Will Prince Harry be the fun uncle, or will he take his role more seriously? CNN's Max Foster takes a look:
1. Anchor says Prince Harry will be relieved that Prince Williams baby can take some of his media paparazzi off of him. Apparently Prince Harry is on Tv 24/7 as well!

2. Royal Baby is a blessing for Prince Harry to escape to Afghanistan! (BTW, it's wrong to name a Helicopter after the Apache. Geronimo did not like the Iron Horse (train) I'm sure he wouldn't have liked the Iron Bird as well (Geronimo was the equivalent of Apache Royalty)
Joining "Piers Morgan Live" from England, Katie Nicholl offers her prediction for "Royal "Baby" names:
What's your guess on name, 'George, Phillip, Arthur'... Since everyone is offering names, how about Lancelot? He seems to have become royalty at some point, at least in his area?

To cover for the over-coverage of the Royal Baby by the media... the media mocks itself as a precautionary measure:

1. Kate's labor was laborious for the press (a problem that could have been solved by switching to another story).

2. As BBC guy puts it: These media people are speaking Gibberish.

3. Kate Did go into labor during a full moon (Are they suggesting the Royal Baby will be a werewolf?)
Media Defending Themselves 2...

Erin Burnett talks to Television critic Joe Concha about the obsession with the Royal baby:
1. Women care about the Royal Baby birth not men -True. When I was still getting Fox News there was some Royal Moment - about 2 years ago (was it the marriage?) - and suddenly Martha McCallum had extra blush-on on and was pawing at the screen  while Fox News started with their TV trance induction techniques (the movements & graphics just lull a person into following along with whatever they say - I actually got dumber the more I watched it at the time... then they cut off the connection and that problem disappeared) and the men were giving their little: 'oh! We hate the British but the women are cooing so lets shut up for now and just roll our eyes in mild disgust and/or disinterest... afterall, we are men'

2. America cares allot about this: Probably reacting to a BBC News story or something of the kind (sorry there is no media honesty in the US, that's a fact)

3. Follow the money is the reason why the guy says the Royal Baby is the only news story in America.

4. Switching a Kate show instead of Anderson doubled their ratings. ... Just wondering, if the largest cable channel constantly promotes Kate and then other media channels copy them wouldn't they get bleed off viewers? Other option is that this statistic is made up. It wouldn't be the first time Fox News has made up facts and it's not like any of the US Media channels are truly independent of Rupert Murdoch. Even Time Warner board (the company that owns CNN) as an ex-Bush official on it's board. Bush and Murdoch are close.

Fox News Did Cover Nakedness Though, Just Not For Their Own Reporter

Picture
Fox News is like some sleazy magazine, always going for the page 3,4 or 5 naked lady like The Sun or whatever Rupert's UK Mag was called. Given Rupert Murdoch's past, that's not surprising(though how much power the FBI has compared to Murdoch is highly debatable). He even seems to have lied at his hearing in England (full analysis soon).
